On a mission to fill the gap between mass-market and high-end home brands, departo set out to create covetable, influential objects that are accessible to a wider audience, without sacrificing quality. Officially launched in New York in 2019, the departo team – including creative directors George Yabu and Glenn Pushelberg of Yabu Pushelberg and furniture maker Yuichiro Hori of Stellar Works – came to Idea Workshop to launch the line in Canada.

Our outreach campaign positioned departo as the defining brand for today’s modern, mobile consumer, generated significant media exposure, and built national brand awareness and sales.
