In a conversation with Real Estate Magazine, Robyn Brown, Principal of Arcadis’ Canada East Placemaking Group, noted concerns that Build Canada Homes plan may lean too heavily on the private sector – raising questions around equity, impact, and the investment needed to scale modular construction.
“I’m not totally clear on how much the federal government is going to build and how much they’re going to leave to the private sector. I get the impression a lot more will go to the private sector,” she said.
