At their Brockville manufacturing facility, CABN‘s research and design team is actively scanning, analyzing, and categorizing underutilized timber species to turn low-value or unmarketable timber into vital assets for housing – an innovation that promotes sustainability in building while strengthening Canadian supply chains.
CABN recently partnered with the Ontario Woodlot Association, the University of Toronto’s Mass Timber Institute, Limerick Forest, the United Counties of Leeds and Grenville, and Ontario’s Ministry of Natural Resources to bring a new solar-powered Discovery Centre to Limerick Forest – built with red pine cross laminated timber (CLT) sourced from the very same woods.
The proof is in the red pine: https://lnkd.in/abc1234
