As the public face of SickKids CCMH and Learning Institute, the website serves a variety of distinct audiences including families, youth, referring professionals, educational institutions and students looking for placements, and mental health professionals looking for training through the Learning Institute.
Idea Workshop redesigned the website, user experience, programming and development and wrote the content to better engage with all stakeholders and act as a dynamic, updateable tool to greatly improve the internal processes and day-to-day operations for staff. We engaged with a large working group from all disciplines and one-on-one interviews with management to gain insight into the user experience and how functionality could be elevated in all aspects of the site. The design was completely transformed to create a more welcoming face and navigation with a clear hierarchy of content resulting in significant growth in site traffic and engagement.
