The new Ronald McDonald House Atlantic, designed by Montgomery Sisam Architects in association with Lydon Lynch Architects, serves as a reminder that purposeful design can transform the experience of care – prioritizing dignity and comfort while fostering a sense of normalcy for families during some of their most challenging moments.
“The real thing about the design of the building was to make it the antidote of the hospital… The idea is that when you cross the threshold into your new home, you can just feel this is different,” Robert Davies, principal at MSA, tells hdm.
